Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 07.00 pm  - OLIVER JOHNSON and His Blues Band.  Oliver Johnson is an accomplished trumpeter, keyboardist, singer, songwriter and composer that is fast coming into his on. After years, working as a sideman for the likes of Albert King, Johnny Johnson, Shirley Brown, Oliver's dream was for himself to become a successful Bandleader, Entertainer and for him to explore his untapped talent, creativeness and his versatility.

Oliver Johnson is a very active member of the St. Louis Blues, Jazz and Motown community. He appears frequently at R&B concerts, clubs and private parties both as a single performer and as a leader of his own group The Nite Train Express.

Yuki Isami, all the way from Montreal, presents another versatile program.  In addition to classical flute music, Ms. Isami will sing traditional Japanese music, and perform on the shamisen (a plucked 3-stringed instrument) and the shinobue (bamboo flute).  Yuki Isami, flute, Abe Minzer, piano, and with Julie Mynett, flute.  Bach Sonata in C for flute and keyboard, Franz Doppler duo for 2 flutes and piano, Prokofiev Sonata in D Major for flute and piano.

Sun June 2, 2013 5:00 PM - “Pianist Jeffrey Chappell: Crossroads of Classical and Jazz”, renowned pianist Jeffrey Chappell visits us from Baltimore/Washington DC area.  He will be assisted by pianist Judy Bridewell Biondini in a program of music for solo piano and 2-pianos.  Mr. Chappell will also improvise jazz.  WPAA and IMS scholarship pianist, Rebekah Crampton will open the program with Liszt’s “Orage”.
